Since I went from having no video games to suddenly having two systems and about 10 video games, I don’t know what to do with myself. I started out OK, concentrating on getting through most of Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I played that game like crazy. I still have a lot to do on it too. Then that PS3 started calling me and I decided to try out LittleBigPlanet. I played through a few levels before I got the urge to try out LEGO Batman. Now I’m hooked. I can’t stop playing LEGO Batman. The streets of LEGO Gotham City will be safe.

I’m falling into my old problem with video games though. I had this problem with the GameCube. I’d pick up a game and play it like crazy for about a month or so. I might get through half or 3/4 of the game, but I wouldn’t finish it. Then I’d pick up a new game and repeat the process, leaving the previous game lonely and gathering dust on the shelf. I have since gone back and completed most of these games, but there are still a couple that remain unfinished (Resident Evil Zero, I’m looking at you).

It’s not that I’m not going to go back to LittleBigPlanet or Super Smash Brothers Brawl. I will. I’m probably not going to jump into the other two Lego titles that I own after I finish up with Batman. I’ll be Lego-ed out, I think. But will I pick up one of the previous two mentioned? Or will I try out Mario Kart? Or that Zelda game? Decisions!

One thing is for certain, I’m not going to buy a new game until these bad boys are finished. I jumped at the LEGO titles because I was able to get them cheap using some reward points from my credit card, but I don’t plan on picking up any new ones until all of these (including Mario Kart and Zelda and the other LEGO games) are played through. I have to have some level of discipline.

In other news, LEGO Batman doesn’t seem to have any trophies. What’s up with that? It’s almost not worth playing. AMIRITE?
