I wake up at 6:30 AM to the alarm clock. Today’s Tuesday is my Friday. That’s right. Just a two day work week for me this time. Then I’m off for a few days for Christmas. Five day weekend. But I’ve got to get through today first. Monica and I watch Friends and almost finish up the third season. Breakfast is had and we’re off to work.

It’s still really friggin’ cold out, but I don’t think it’s as face shattering as it was yesterday. Work is even slower than it was yesterday again due to the holidays. The few people that are in the office are pleasant though. Everyone knows that the holidays are here and they’re all just happy and nice. Norman Rockwell would be proud.

I head downstairs around 1 to eat lunch. Leftover Hamburger Helper in hand, I chow down and come within 50 pages of finishing up Money Shot. The book flows really well and it’s just a great read. Perfect example of this genre and it’s from the female perspective which is rare.

The rest of the day goes by alright. I start feeling like I’m having some sort of overdose on Christmas snacks around 4. Between all the chocolate and candy and cakes and other goodies, I’ll probably develop diabetes. Merry Christmas indeed!

I head out at 5:30 and into the cold. A quick drive across the bridge and I’m back home. It turns out that I open the door just as Monica had finished wrapping my gift. I had already assembled hers the night before while she was in the shower. Gift bags all the way. We talk for a bit and then finish up the third season of Friends.

I make some frozen pizza for dinner and then we sit down to watch some Christmas specials. I got this DVD set with a bunch of them in it. We watch Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and then Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town followed by The Little Drummer Boy. We’ve still got Frosty the Snowman and Frosty Returns to finish up the set.

We’re about ready for bed by this point. I do some more reading and I’m asleep by 11. I don’t know why I felt so tired. Christmas movies really tire me out I guess.
